Abinadi
(Pronounced Ab-in-a-die)

He is commanded to prophesy to King Noah and his people and is imprisoned.   He confounds and challenges the king and his priests, and is protected by the power of God, until his message is delivered.   To seal his testimony, the Lord allows King Noah to slay Abinadi by fire. Alma, a young priest of King Noah's, is touched by the power and truth of Abinadi's words and becomes a powerful missionary for the Lord, bringing many to a knowledge of their God.
