Laman
(Pronounced Lay-mun)

The eldest son of Lehi who continually murmured and rebelled against his father and brother Nephi.   He desired to kill Nephi and is constantly stirring up his followers against him.   He and his followers are separated from Nephi and his followers and take on the title of Lamanites.
